What eMastered Does
eMastered is an AI mastering platform developed with input from Grammy-winning engineers. It offers more user control than many competitors, letting you adjust intensity, EQ, compression, and stereo width on the mastered output. Their subscription model starts at $3.99/month for basic plans up to $8.99/month for advanced features, making it an affordable mastering option.
What eMastered Doesn't Do
eMastered processes your audio for mastering but doesn't analyze the mix itself. You won't learn that your low mids are building up, that your top end is thin, or that your mix collapses in mono. It applies polish without diagnosing the underlying issues that limit how good the final master can sound.
How RoastYourMix Is Different
RoastYourMix focuses entirely on mix quality. We give you a health score, detailed frequency analysis, dynamics assessment, and a list of specific fixes to improve your mix. We don't master your track -- we make sure your track is worth mastering. Fix it with us, then send a cleaner mix to eMastered for the best possible result.

The quick answers
Is RoastYourMix a mastering tool like eMastered?
No. RoastYourMix is a mix analysis and feedback tool. We don't master your audio -- we tell you what's wrong with your mix and how to fix it. We're the step before mastering, not a replacement for it.
Can I use both RoastYourMix and eMastered?
Absolutely, and that's the recommended approach. Upload your mix to RoastYourMix first to catch issues like muddy lows, harsh highs, or dynamic problems. Fix those in your DAW, then send the improved mix to eMastered for mastering. The result will be noticeably better.
Does eMastered give mix feedback?
No, eMastered is a mastering service. It processes your audio with EQ, compression, and loudness optimization, but it doesn't tell you what's wrong with your mix or how to improve it before mastering.
Which is cheaper for improving my track?
RoastYourMix plans start at $9.99 a month for the Mix Revision Pass, with the first 3 days free, unlimited roasts plus monthly deep reports included. If your mix has problems, fixing them before mastering gives you a far better return on investment than mastering a flawed mix repeatedly.
